Arcadian Live

Absolute silence reigns throughout the stadium as everyone stares at Wolf’s unconscious form.

The silence lasts for an entire minute before someone in the audience begins to applaud.

More and more people slowly begin to join that person until the entire stadium is full of applause.

Meanwhile, the commentators – Mikaela and Katherine – finally recover from their shock and join in on the applause.

It isn’t until a few minutes later that Mikaela begins speaking as the applause finally begins to die down, “That was… incredible. Just incredible.”

Katherine nods in agreement without saying a word.

“I think this might be the first time in Administrator Dungeon history that a competitor on the second floor was able to kill something with a level ranging in the thirties,” Mikaela says with his eyes opened wide in awe.

He then goes quiet for several seconds before adding, “Although I doubt that he would have been able to pull it off if it weren’t for the setup of the room.”

Mutters of agreement run through the audience as they continue to stare at the screen despite nothing happening on it.

“At least he got a level out of this stroke of bad luck,” Mikaela says as he glances at Wolf’s description above the main screen.

His comment breaks the strange atmosphere within the stadium as a few laughs break out amongst the audience.

“Yeah,” Katherine says, finally ending her silence. “I doubt any of the other competitors could have managed to do what he did.”

Mikaela nods his head in agreement as he says, “He is a harbinger after all.”

Conversations break out throughout the audience as they talk about the battle amongst each other before Mikaela suddenly adds, “Still, that was rotten luck for him. Not only did he get stuck with a Pandora’s Box on the second floor, but he got a powerful monster from it as well!”

Katherine nods her head in agreement as the chatter amongst the audience increases in volume at his comment.

Meanwhile, in a corner of the stadium, a woman with golden eyes stands with a meter of distance between herself and the other members of the audience, as if they are avoiding her out of an instinct.

“He’s an interesting kid, I’ll give him that,” the woman mutters with a small smile on her face.

A shiver runs down the spines of everyone within hearing distance of her, but when they turn around to see what caused it, they find nothing but a strange empty space spanning a meter in diameter.
